Baptism’s are simply beautiful to witness.
“Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection” (Romans 6:4-5)

God is not satisfied with you just getting off of drugs [or fill in the blank]. God wants your heart! Jesus Christ died because He wants all of you, not just part of you.
Mark 14:3-6
While Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon the leper, and reclining at the table, there came a woman with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume of pure nard; and she broke the vial and poured it over His head.
But some were indignantly remarking to one another,
“Why has this perfume been wasted? For this perfume might have been sold for over three hundred denarii, and the money given to the poor.” And they were scolding her.
But Jesus said, “Let her alone; why do you bother her? She has done a good deed to Me.
There are times when it seems as if God watches to see if we will give Him the abandoned tokens of how genuinely we do love Him. Abandon to God is of more value than personal holiness. Personal holiness focuses the eye on our own whiteness [purity]; we are greatly concerned about the way we walk and talk and look, fearful lest we offend Him. Perfect love casts out all that when once we are abandoned to God. We have to get rid of this notion - ‘Am I of any use?’ and make up our minds that we are not, and we may be near the truth. It is never a question of being of use, but of being of value to God Himself. When we are abandoned to God, He works through us all the time.” -Oswald Chambers
Good word!
If you’re not aiming for something you’ll settle for anything! And then you’ll call it God’s will. Many churches are settling for this today. They have no goal in mind and they will settle for any amount of activity and call it “God moving”. If Jesus isn’t the target then what is? Are we just shooting arrows against a fence and afterward painting targets on them?
